10) இந்திய ராணுவத்தில் புதிய உயரடுக்கு படைப்பிரிவுகள் சேர்க்கப்பட உள்ளதாக
காலாட்படை இயக்குநர் ஜெனரல் அஜய் குமார் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். சீனா,
பாகிஸ்தான் உடனான எல்லைப் பகுதிகளில் திடீர் தாக்குதல்கள், ரோந்து பணிகள், பயங்கரவாத எதிர்ப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளில்
ஈடுபடுத்த 'Bhairav Battalion' என்ற பெயரில் புதிய
படைப்பிரிவுகள் உருவாக்கப்பட உள்ளன. பைரவ் பட்டாலியனின்
முதல் படைப்பிரிவு நவம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி ராணுவத்தில் இணைய
உள்ளது. அடுத்த 6 மாதங்களில் இதுபோன்ற 25
படைப்பிரிவுகளை உருவாக்கப்பட உள்ளன. ஒவ்வொரு
பிரிவுகளிலும் காலாட்படை, பீரங்கிகள், வான்
பாதுகாப்பு அமைப்புகளை கொண்ட 250 வீரர்கள் இடம்பெற உள்ளனர்.
11) வெள்ளை மாளிகையில் கடந்த அக்டோபர் 17 அன்று நடந்த
சந்திப்பில், கிழக்கு டான்பாஸ் பகுதி முழுவதையும் ரஷ்யாவிடம்

Officials have advised the public living along the banks of the Cauvery river
to be safe as the water level may soon increase to 40,000 cubic feet.
9) Union Minister Jitendra Singh has
said that the antibiotic 'Nafithromycin', which is used against infections in
the lungs and respiratory system, has been developed domestically for the first
time.
10) New elite battalions are to be
inducted into the Indian Army, said Director General of Infantry Ajay Kumar.
The new battalions are to be formed under the name 'Bhairav Battalion' to be involved in surprise
attacks, patrolling and counter-terrorism operations in the border areas with
China and Pakistan. The first battalion of the Bhairav Battalion is to be inducted into the
army on November 1. 25 such battalions are to be formed in the next 6 months.
Each battalion will have 250 soldiers with infantry, artillery and air defense
systems.
11) It has been reported that during
a meeting at the White House on October 17, US President Trump urged Ukrainian
