1) In the Teacher Eligibility Test held in November
2025, R. Tamilarasan, a teacher from Edakeezhaiyur Panchayat Union Primary
School in Needamangalam block, Thiruvarur district, has achieved a remarkable
feat by securing the first rank at the district level and the third rank at the
state level. The achievement of a government school teacher at the state level
in the Teacher Eligibility Test has filled those in the education sector with
pride.
