1) இந்திய குடிமைப் பணிகள் தேர்வில் (யுபிஎஸ்சி) மதுரை வாடிப்பட்டியைச் சேர்ந்த ராஜேஸ்வரி அகில இந்திய அளவில் இரண்டாம் இடம் பெற்று சாதனை படைத்துள்ளார்.

2) பட்டயக் கணக்காளர் (CA) இடைநிலைத் தேர்வில் மதுரையைச் சேர்ந்த லோகப்பிரியா தேசிய அளவில் முதலிடம் பிடித்து சாதனை படைத்துள்ளார்.

3) வட இந்தியாவில் வெப்ப அலை வீசத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது. டெல்லியில் இன்று வெப்பநிலை 38°C வரை உயரும் என கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

4) கச்சா எண்ணெய் விலை உயர்வால் அமெரிக்க டாலருக்கு நிகரான இந்திய ரூபாயின் மதிப்பு 91.60 ரூபாயாகச் சரிந்துள்ளது.
