1) இன்று முதல் பத்தாம் வகுப்பு பொதுத் தேர்வுகள் தொடங்குகின்றன.

2) வளைகுடா போர் காரணமாக இந்தியாவில் சமையல் எரிவாயு விநியோகிப்பதில் தட்டுபாடு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.

3) தமிழகத்தின் பல மாநகரங்களில் வணிகப் பயன்பாட்டிற்கான எரிவாயு உருளை விநியோகம் நிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.

4) தட்டுபாடு காரணமாக வீட்டு உபயோகத்திற்கான எரிவாயு உருளையை மட்டும் விநியோகம் செய்ய மத்திய அரசு முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.

6) சமையல் எரிவாயு உருளையைப் பதுக்குபவர்கள் மீது எஸ்மா சட்டத்தின் படி கடுமையான நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என மத்திய அரசு எச்சரித்துள்ளது. இச்சட்டம் பதுக்கல்காரர்களுக்கு மூன்று மாதங்கள் முதல் ஏழு ஆண்டுகள் வரை சிறை தண்டனை விதிக்கும் வகையிலானது.

7) ராமேஸ்வரம் - மங்களூரு மற்றும் நெல்லை - மங்களூரு எக்ஸ்பிரஸ் உள்ளிட்ட 5 புதிய ரயில் சேவைகளை பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி இன்று தொடங்கி வைக்கிறார்.
