1) மகாத்மா காந்தியின் 157 ஆவது பிறந்த நாளையொட்டி குடியரசுத் தலைவர் திரௌபதி முர்மு மகாத்மா காந்தியின் நினைவிடமான ராஜ்காட்டில் மலர் தூவி மரியாதை செய்தார்.

2) நாளை செங்கல்பட்டு, திருவண்ணாமலை, காஞ்சிபுரம் உள்ளிட்ட 8 மாவட்டங்களுக்குக் கனமழை எச்சரிக்கை விடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

3) வங்கக் கடலில் காற்றழுத்தத் தாழ்வு மையம் வலு பெற்றுள்ளதால் எண்ணூர் துறைமுகத்தில் 1 ஆம் எண் புயல்எச்சரிக்கைக் கூண்டு ஏற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது.
