1) வங்கக் கடலில் இன்று குறைந்த காற்றழுத்த தாழ்வு நிலை உருவாக உள்ளதாக வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

9) நுரையீரல் மற்றும் சுவாச மண்டலத்தில் ஏற்படும் நோய்த்தொற்றுகளுக்கு எதிராகப் பயன்படும் 'Nafithromycin' நுண்ணுயிர் எதிர்ப்பு மருந்து, முதல் முறையாக உள்நாட்டிலேயே உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக மத்திய அமைச்சர் ஜிதேந்திர சிங் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

10) இந்திய ராணுவத்தில் புதிய உயரடுக்கு படைப்பிரிவுகள் சேர்க்கப்பட உள்ளதாக காலாட்படை இயக்குநர் ஜெனரல் அஜய் குமார் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். சீனா, பாகிஸ்தான் உடனான எல்லைப் பகுதிகளில் திடீர் தாக்குதல்கள், ரோந்து பணிகள், பயங்கரவாத எதிர்ப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளில் ஈடுபடுத்த 'Bhairav Battalion' என்ற பெயரில் புதிய படைப்பிரிவுகள் உருவாக்கப்பட உள்ளன. பைரவ் பட்டாலியனின் முதல் படைப்பிரிவு நவம்பர் 1ஆம் தேதி ராணுவத்தில் இணைய உள்ளது. அடுத்த 6 மாதங்களில் இதுபோன்ற 25 படைப்பிரிவுகளை உருவாக்கப்பட உள்ளன. ஒவ்வொரு பிரிவுகளிலும் காலாட்படை, பீரங்கிகள், வான் பாதுகாப்பு அமைப்புகளை கொண்ட 250 வீரர்கள் இடம்பெற உள்ளனர்.
