1) தீபாவளி முன்னெச்சரிக்கை நடவடிக்கையாக அனைத்து வகை அவசர உதவிகளுக்கும் 108 என்ற தொடர்பு எண்ணை அழைக்கலாம் எனத் தமிழக அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது.

2) கரூர் கூட்ட நெரிசல் உயிரிழப்புச் சம்பவம் தொடர்பாக மத்திய புலனாய்வு விசாரணை கோரி தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழகம் தொடர்ந்த வழக்கில் இன்று உச்சநீதி மன்றம் தீர்ப்பு வழங்குகிறது.

3) இன்று 11 மாவட்டங்களுக்குக் கனமழை எச்சரிக்கை விடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
