1) இளநிலை மருத்துவ படிப்பிற்கான (எம்பிபிஎஸ்) கலந்தாய்வு சூலை 30 முதல் தொடங்குகிறது.

2) அரசு கலை அறிவியல் கல்லூரிகளில் முதுநிலை படிப்புகளுக்கு சூலை 31 வரை விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம்.

3) புதுவை அரசுப் பள்ளிகளில் பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கு 10 சதவீதம் உயர்கல்வியில் இட ஒதுக்கீடு வழங்கப்படும் என முதல்வர் ரங்கசாமி அறிவித்துள்ளார்.

4) மாணவர்கள் படிப்பதற்கு உகந்த நகரங்களின் பட்டியலில் சென்னை நகரம் 128 ஆவது இடத்தில் உள்ளது. தென்கொரியாவின் சியோல் முதல் இடத்திலும், ஜப்பானின் டோக்கியோ இரண்டாம் இடத்திலும், இங்கிலாந்தின் லண்டன் மூன்றாம் இடத்திலும் உள்ளன.

5) அடுத்த மாதம் தொடங்க உள்ள நாடாளுமன்றத்தின் மக்களவைக் கூட்டத்தொடரில் எட்டு மசோத்தாக்கள் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட உள்ளன.
