தமிழ் செய்திகள்

1)                  மத்திய அரசு வெளியிட்டுள்ள பட்டியலில் நடப்பு கல்வியாண்டில் சிறந்த கல்வி நிறுவனங்களின் பட்டியலில் தொடர்ந்து ஆறாவது ஆண்டாகச் சென்னை ஐஐடி முதலிடம் பிடித்து சாதனை படைத்துள்ளது.  

2)                  மாநிலப் பல்கலைக்கழகங்களின் தர வரிசையில் சென்னை அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகம் நாட்டிலேயே முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளது.

3)                  ஆகஸ்ட் 14 மற்றும் 15 ஆகிய தேதிகளில் தமிழகத்துக்கு ஆரஞ்சு எச்சரிக்கையை விடுத்துள்ளது வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம்.

4)                  மேட்டூர் அணை இரண்டாம் முறையாக முழு கொள்ளளவான 120 அடியை எட்டியது.

5)                  நாகப்பட்டினத்திலிருந்து இலங்கைக்குக் கப்பல் போக்குவரத்து ஆகஸ்ட் 16 இல் துவங்குகிறது. சாதாரண வகுப்புக் கட்டணம் 5000 ஆகவும் பிரிமியம் வகுப்புக் கட்டணம் 7500 ஆகவும் நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

6)                  தமிழகத்தில் யானைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரித்துள்ளதாக சர்வதேச யானைகள் தினமான ஆகஸ்ட் 12 இல் முதல்வர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

7)                  ஆகஸ்ட் 18 இல் சென்னையில் பாதுகாப்புத் துறை அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங் கலைஞர் நூற்றாண்டு நினைவு நாணயத்தை வெளியிட உள்ளார்.

8)                  தேசியக்கொடி ஏற்றுவதைத் தடுப்பவர்கள் மேல் குண்டர் சட்டம் பாயும் என சென்னை உயர்நீதி மன்றம் எச்சரித்துள்ளது.

9)                  ராஜஸ்தானில் கனமழைக்கு இருபது பேர் பலியாகியுள்ளனர்.
