1) ஜம்மு காஷ்மீரின் பகல்ஹாமில் பயங்கரவாதிகளின் தாக்குதலில் 26 சுற்றுலா பயணிகள் உயிரிழந்தனர்.

2) பகல்ஹாம் தாக்குதலைத் தொடர்ந்து சவுதி அரேபியா பயணத்தை ரத்து செய்து விட்டு பிரதமர் நாடு திரும்பினார். நாட்டின் பாதுகாப்பு குறித்து உயர் அதிகாரிகளுடன் அவரச ஆலோசனை நடத்தினார்.
