1) 77 ஆவது குடியரசு தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு புதுடெல்லியில் உள்ள கடமை பாதையில் குடியரசுத் தலைவர் திரௌபதி முர்மு தேசியக்கொடி ஏற்றுகிறார்.

2) தமிழகத்தில் குடியரசு தனத்தை முன்னிட்டு தமிழக ஆளுநர் ஆர்.என்.ரவி சென்னை, மெரினாவில் உழைப்பாளர் சிலை அருகே தேசியக் கொடி ஏற்றுகிறார்.

3) பள்ளிகளில் கூடுதல் கட்டணம் விதிப்பது தொடர்பாகப் புகார் அளிக்க பெற்றோர்கள் அஞ்சக் கூடாது என பள்ளிக்கல்வித்துறை அமைச்சர் அன்பில் மகேஷ் பொய்யாமொழி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

4) இந்தியா மீது அமெரிக்கா விதித்துள்ள 25 சதவீத கூடுதல் வரியைத் திரும்ப பெற வாய்ப்புள்ளதாக அமெரிக்க நிதியமைச்சர் ஸ்காட் பெசன்ட் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

5) அமெரிக்காவில் வீசும் மோசமான பனிப்புயலால் ஜார்ஜியா, மேரிலேண்ட் உட்பட 15 மாகாணங்களில் அங்கு அவசரநிலை பிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. பனிப்புயலால் 8 கோடி மக்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

6) டி20 உலகக் கோப்பை போட்டிக்காக இந்தியா வர மறுத்த வங்கதேச அணியை நீக்கப்பட்டு அதற்குப் பதிலாக ஸ்காட்லாந்து அணி சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

7) தமிழகத்தின் பல மாவட்டங்களுக்கு இன்று மழை எச்சரிக்கை விடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
