1) இந்திய குடிமைப் பணி முதன்மைத் தேர்வில் தமிழகத்திலிருந்து
155 பேர் தேர்வாகியுள்ளனர். சென்ற ஆண்டு இந்த எண்ணிக்கை 136 ஆக இருந்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
2) பீகார் சட்டப்பேரவைத் தேர்தலில் பதிவான வாக்குகள் நாளை எண்ணப்படுகின்றன.
3) தமிழகத்தில் இதுவரை 5 கோடி வாக்காளர் திருத்தப் படிவங்கள்
விநியோகிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
4) சரக்கு மற்றும் சேவை வரி விதிப்பு விகிதம் குறைக்கப்பட்டதால்
அக்டோபர் மாத சில்லரைப் பணவீக்கம் இந்தியாவில் குறைந்தது.
5) மனிதர்களை விண்வெளிக்கு அனுப்பும் இஸ்ரோவின் ககன்யான் திட்டத்தின்
ஒரு பகுதியான பாரசூட் சோதனை வெற்றிகரமாகப் பரிசோதிக்கப்பட்டது.
6) தமிழகத்தில் இன்று முதல் 5 நாட்களுக்கு மழை வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது.
