1) டித்வா புயல் கரையை நெருங்கி வருவதால் சென்னை மற்றும் நாகப்பட்டினம் துறைமுகங்களில் நான்காம் எண் புயல் எச்சரிக்கைக் கூண்டு ஏற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது.

2) டித்வா புயலை எதிர்கொள்ள அரசு இயந்திரம் தயார் நிலையில் இருப்பதாக முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

3) டித்வா முன்னெச்சரிக்கை பாதுகாப்பு நடவடிக்கையாகப் பொதுமக்கள் அவசியமின்றி வெளியே வர வேண்டாம் என முதலமைச்சர் வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்துள்ளார்.

4) டித்வா புயலால் ஏற்பட்ட கனமழையால் இலங்கையில் உயிரிழந்தவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 85 ஆக அதிகரித்துள்ளது. 50 ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

5) இந்தியப் பொருளாதாரம் 8.2 சதவீத பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியை அடைந்துள்ளது.

6) ரஷ்ய அதிபர் விளாதிமிர் புடின் டிசம்பர் 4 இல் இந்தியா வருகிறார்.
