1) பணி புரியும் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கான ஆசிரியர் தகுதித் தேர்வுக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்க இன்று கடைசி நாளாகும்.

2) தமிழகம் முழுவதும் இறுதி வேட்பாளர் பட்டியல் படி, சுமார் 4,630 வேட்பாளர்கள் தேர்தல் களத்தில் உள்ளனர்.

1) ஹோமியோபதி மருத்துவ முறையைக் கண்டறிந்த ஜெர்மனி மருத்துவர் டாக்டர் சாமுவேல் ஹானிமன் 1755 இல் பிறந்த தினம் இன்று.

2) 1875 இல் தயானந்த சரஸ்வதி ஆரிய சமாஜத்தைத் தோற்றுவித்த தினம் இன்று.

3) இந்தியாவின் முன்னாள் பிரதமரும், பாரத ரத்னா விருது பெற்றவருமான மொரார்ஜி தேசாய் தனது 99 ஆவது வயதில் 1995 இல் மறைந்த தினம் இன்று.
