நிதிச்சுமை இருந்தாலும் பசிச்சுமையைப் போக்கவே பள்ளிகளில் காலை உணவுத் திட்டம் தொடங்கப்படுவதாக முதல்வர் மு.க. ஸ்டாலின் கூறியுள்ளார்.

தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள அரசு மற்றும் மெட்ரிக் பள்ளிகளில் அந்தந்த பள்ளிகளே வினாத்தாள்களைத் தயாரித்து முதல் பருவத் தேர்வை நடத்திக் கொள்ள பள்ளிக் கல்வித்துறை அனுமதி வழங்கியுள்ளது. முதல் பருவத் தேர்விற்கான தேதியை அந்தந்த மாவட்ட முதன்மைக் கல்வி அலுவலர்கள் முடிவு செய்து அறிப்பர் எனவும் பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறை சார்பாகத் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

புள்ளியில் தொடர்பான 217 காலிப் பணியிடங்களுக்கான வேலைவாய்ப்பு அறிவிப்பைத் தமிழ்நாடு அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் அறிவித்துள்ளது.
