நாட்டின் கடல்சார் உயிரினங்களைப் பாதுகாக்கும் நாட்டின் முதல் கடற்பசு பாதுகாப்பகத்தை மன்னார் வளைகுடா மற்றும் பாக் விரிகுடா பகுதியில் அமைப்பது குறித்த அறிவிப்பைத் தமிழக அரசு வெளியிட்டது.

என்.சி.இ.ஆர்.டி. சார்பில் நடத்தப்பட்ட கல்வித்திறன் ஆய்வில் எண்களை அறியும் அடிப்படைத் திறனில் தமிழகத்தைச் சார்ந்த மூன்றாம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்கள் மிகவும் பின்தங்கியுள்ளனர்.

ஆயுதப்பூஜையை முன்னிட்டு செப்டம்பர் 30 மற்றும் அக்டோபர் 1 இல் 1650 சிறப்புப் பேருந்துகளை இயக்கத் தமிழகப் போக்குவரத்துத் துறை முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.
