1) தமிழகத்தில் ஒரே ஆண்டில் ஒரு லட்சத்திற்கு மேற்பட்டோருக்குப் புற்றுநோய் பாதிப்பு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது கண்டறியப்பட்டுள்ளது. தமிழகத்தில் புற்றுநோய் பாதிப்பில் சென்னை முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது.

2) உணவில் அதிக அளவு உப்பு சேர்த்துக் கொள்வது ஆபத்தானது என்ற விழிப்புணர்வு நாடு முழுவதும் மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் என மத்திய சுகாதார அமைச்சர் ஜே.பி.நட்டா தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

3) அமெரிக்க வர்த்தக ஒப்பந்தத்தில் இந்திய விவசாயிகளின் நலன் சமரசம் செய்து கொள்ளப்படவில்லை என மத்திய வர்த்தக அமைச்சர் பியூஷ் கோயல் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

4) அடுத்த 5 ஆண்டுகளில் உலகின் வெப்பநிலை 1.5 டிகிரி செல்சியஸ் அதிகரிக்கும் என உலக வானிலை அமைப்பு எச்சரித்துள்ளது.

5) அமெரிக்கா – ஈரான் இடையே ஏற்பட்டுள்ள பதற்றத்திற்குத் தீர்வு காணும் வகையில் அமெரிக்காவுடன் பேச்சு வார்த்தைக்குத் தயாராக இருப்பதாக ஈரான் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

6) தமிழகத்தின் மூத்த கல்வியாளர் ச.சீ. ராசகோபாலன்  வயது முதிர்வு மற்றும் உடல்நலக் குறைவால் காலமானார். அவருக்கு வயது 95.

7) தென் மாவட்டங்கள் மற்றும் டெல்டா மாவட்டங்களில் இன்று மழைக்கு வாய்ப்புள்ளதாக வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
