1) நாடு முழுவதும் 18,727 அரசுப் பள்ளிகள் போதிய மாணவர்கள் இன்றி மூடப்பட்டுள்ளதாக மத்திய அரசு நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

2) ஐஏஎஸ், ஐபிஎஸ் போன்ற 933 சிவில் சர்வீஸ் பணியிடங்களுக்கான அறிவிப்பை யுபிஎஸ்சி வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. அதற்கான விண்ணப்பப்பதிவு தொடங்கி உள்ளது.
