1) பத்தாம் வகுப்பு மற்றும் பனிரெண்டாம் வகுப்பில் தமிழில் நூற்று நூறு பெற்ற 142 மாணவ மாணவியருக்கு தமிழக முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் பரிசுத்தொகையை வழங்கினார்.

2) மாணவர்களிடம் சாதி உணர்வு மற்றும் பாலின பாகுபாட்டு உணர்வு ஏற்படுவதைத் தடுக்குமாறும் அவர்களிடம் நல்லொழுக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்துமாறும் தமிழக முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளார்.

3) சென்னை, காந்தி மண்டபத்தில் வேலுநாச்சியார் சிலையைத் தமிழக முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் திறந்து வைத்தார்.

4) வேலூர் காவலர் பயிற்சிச் பள்ளிக்கு வேலுநாச்சியார் பெயர் சூட்டப்படுவதாகத் தமிழக முதல்வர் அறிவித்துள்ளார்.

5) மாநில நெடுஞ்சாலைத் துறைக்குத் தனி ஆணையத்தை முதல்வர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின்  தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.

6) நடிகர் மோகன்லாலுக்கு தாதா சாகேப் பால்கே விருது அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

7) இந்தியாவின் வலிமையை ஆபரேசன் சிந்தூர் உலகுக்கு உணர்த்தியுள்ளதாகப் பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

8) அமெரிக்க அதிபர் டொனால்ட் டிரம்பின் நடவடிக்கையால் 1.32 லட்சமாக இருந்த அமெரிக்க எச்1-பி விசா கட்டணம் 88 லட்சமாக உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
